Synthetic esters are performance base fluids that generally show much lower volatilities than other base fluids. In addition, carefully selected ester structures will demonstrate a high level of resistance to thermo-oxidation, as well as unusual levels of cleanliness in operation.
These great features make them particularly suitable for use as base fluids for high temperature chain oils, compressor oils, engine oils or high temperature greases.
