NYCOSOL® 13 is made of diethylene glycol methyl ether (DIEGME), also called methyldiglycol, and contains the antioxidant required by MIL-DTL-85470. NYCOSOL® 13 is an additive that prevents the formation of ice crystals in the aircraft fuel system at low temperature. The treatment level is from 0.07 to 0.15% in fuel.
