NYCO unveils TURBONYCOIL® 940 SE, a synthetic turbine oil bringing high performance while addressing the latest eco-sensitive challenges of the aviation industry.
With more than 60 years of experience in the development and manufacturing of high-performance synthetic lubricants for the Aeronautics & Defense markets, NYCO takes advantage of the 55th edition of SIAE to introduce its latest innovation in turbine oils: TURBONYCOIL® 940 SE.
After a decade of extensive research, the development of TURBONYCOIL® 940 SE answers a dual challenge: the arrival of increasingly compact, low-consumption and hot engines demands a very high level of thermal & oxidation stability, while the safety associated with handling these chemical products has become a significant criterion in the selection of turbine oils by aviation users.
To meet these new requirements, TURBONYCOIL® 940 SE, certified according to MIL PRF 23699 HTS & SAE AS 5780 HPC, is the result of a well-known and field-proven base stock combined with a selection of safer and more efficient performance additives, such as anti-oxidants and anti-wear agents. This new approach, integrating extensive toxicological testing aligned with normative guidelines is reflected in a safety data sheet and packaging free from any labeling, pictograms, or classification according to CLP, US GHS, and UN GHS.
